Health Bill Ignores Industrial Health Harms

Health care bill, now in hands of the Senate, ignores every industrial threat and harm to health. It finds that people's behavior is the biggest threat.  Could this be because all Senators are economically-linked to health-harming industries, AND their insurers and investors?   Sworn and public-paid Congress members wouldn't go AWOL on their solemn oaths and duties to the people, would they?

If it were not for people, there would be no Health Crisis.

The legislation the Senate is discussing now is quite interesting and telling by what's there, or not.

2) Private insurers, being businesses, have motive and duty to provide as little service as possible at the highest price possible. This is an adversarial situation with the public.

Venezuelan Clinic that is Free in Every Neighborhood

This is a local clinic operating in a neighborhood in the city of Carora. Treatment is free and of a high standard. Also, the locals do not need to make an appointment. They visit when they need to. A bit different from those of us in the US who supposedly have comparatively decent health insurance. No we can't have that ungodly "socialized medicine" here!

Low Income Americans Offered Free Healthcare and Discounted Heating Oil by Venezuelan Government

The government of Venezuela is offering free eye surgery for economically disadvantaged Milwaukeans. Under the program, individuals who have been diagnosed with cataracts or pterigium, and cannot afford surgery, would be flown to Venezuela free of charge to undergo surgery at specialized medical centers located in the capital of the state of Lara, where Carora is located.
